MUNICIPAL MUSEUM

Altozano Square. In 1879, the Council moved its activity to the Altozano Square , called then the General Espartero Square. The new building was a house of the XVIII century. In 1893, a project of reform was ordered but it was not made until 1902. In July 1903, finished the works, the first session was celebrated in the reformed Municipal Palace. In the year 1911 the reforms of stairs and roofs began, which gave a more showy aspect to the whole set, possessing the stairs of raise to the first floor pilasters and rosy stones. On 8th July 1912 the reform was finished, partly, and began to work the clock of three spheres that it was installed in the tower . It is necessary to say that the front of brick is a work of 1960.
