CULTURAL CENTER OF LA ASUNCIÓN

Callejón de las Monjas , it is a building of recent restoration, of ocher yellow color. In its interior, a court (former cloister) completely restored, with galleries, high and ground floor, adorned with columns of ionic order and toscan ; the dining room or refectory of the nuns of the former monastery (today occupied by the Institute of Studies of Albacete ), covered with a craftwork of La Mancha character, work of the first half of the XVI century; the church (current room of hearings and concerts), also with its craftwork, apparently, of the middle of the same century, and other dependences occupied by the Conservatoire of Music and the Institute of Studies of Albacete , already mentioned.
